‘Rivers Run Dry’ album released Friday 21 July 2023 via Universal Music Australia
Renowned Australian musician and vocalist Ian Moss has just dropped the next single from his upcoming 8th studio album, ‘Rivers Run Dry’, and announced a string of Solo & Acoustic Mode regional dates in October, November and December 2023. More dates in 2024 to be announced soon. The anthemic, foot to the floor, ball tearer, Nullarbor Plain, co-written with the brilliant Troy Cassar-Daley, is a musical snapshot of our vast, wide land.
Ian explained, “The Nullarbor Plain is such an open and harsh part of Australia that I have driven I don’t know how many times with Cold Chisel and by myself. Whilst vast, the beauty of it never ceases to amaze me. I trust my co-writer Troy Cassar-Daley and I have captured a little of both in ‘Nullarbor Plain’. Who wouldn’t want to do that drive in a 351 shaker!?”

Containing 12 tracks, Rivers Run Dry is a musical feast, co-produced by Ian and Brent Clarke, and once more displays Mossy’s well-documented guitar-playing genius and a voice that floats like a butterfly and yet can pack the punch of a Mallee bull. Either way, it is unforgettable.
“Mossy” has also announced details of his Rivers Run Dry Tour – Solo & Acoustic Mode that will commence in Port Macquarie on 21 October, through to Gippsland in South East Victoria on 16 December, with stops in Warrnambool, Hamilton, Albury, Bendigo, Wangaratta, Swan Hill and Sale in between.
As part of the Rivers Run Dry Tour fans have the opportunity to purchase VIP tickets to each of the shows which will give them the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and watch Ian’s soundcheck and run a few songs on stage.
