I love getting to chat to some of our ‘regulars’ here at the Rockpit and there’s no one I love to catch up with more than the man with the golden voice – Robin McAuley. It’s been a long road from Grand Prix through MSG and Michael Schanker Fest to playing with Black Swan and now comes a second solo record in as many years.
Approaching a milestone birthday there’s no one doing more with their time than Mr. McAuley. So if you love great music and appreciate one of the best voices in Rock doing what they do best then ‘Alive’ the new solo album is a must hear. For me it even edges the wonderful ‘Standing on the Edge’.
