RINRIN Announces ‘Protagonist’ May 2023 East Coast Tour

Perth alternative singer-songwriter RinRin is set to bring her unrelenting infusion of pop-punk, nu-metal and J-rock across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne for the ‘Protagonist’ May 2023 Tour. Featuring exhilarating fretwork, vibrant synths and a groove-oriented rhythm section bolstering RinRin’s powerhouse vocals, the group delivers infectious melodies akin to Paramore, BabyMetal and Avril Lavigne.

Having established herself as one of Perth’s finest alt-metal acts, RinRin has performed alongside Redhook, The Plot In You, landed a coveted showcase spot at Bigsound, garnered over 350,000+ Spotify streams, and has been placed in the Top 10 AMRAP Metro Charts and Triple J Unearthed Metal Chart. With a melting pot of styles underpinned by an undeniable melodic raw force, RinRin is hungrier than ever to connect with her fans and showcase what she has been crafting behind the scenes.

RinRin on the upcoming tour: “We’ve been looking forward to playing shows over east (after BigSound22) for as long as I can remember and now we’re here! I can’t wait to bring the RinRin party with some unreleased stuff for y’alls.”

Accompanying RinRin are Melbourne metalcore outfit Inferiority Complex and Sydney alt-rock quartet Live Like Animals.

Inferiority Complex stamped their mark with the release of their immersive new EP ‘First Law’ that saw the group amass over a million Spotify Streams. Due to perform with Taiwan’s Solemn, Inferiority Complex will unleash their brand of high-octane riffs rooted in heavy metal, evocative vocals and aggressive breakdowns. Last but not the least, Live Like Animals will bring their chemical cocktail of immersive pop-metal soundscapes merging modern production elements with overdriven guitar and soaring choruses. Their singles ‘Bleach’ and ‘Colourblind’ have been garnering global coverage and airplay with features on Heavy Mag, Hysteria Mag, Wall of Sound, Triple J and more.

Armed with stadium ready pop-metal with swathes of blistering riffage, chant along melodies and electric live performances, this tour is exactly what fans of alternative metal and modern rock have been waiting for. Grab your tickets now for this one-of-a-kind sonic adventure.
