After selling-out a number of theatres on his tour last spring, R&B-soul-country crooner Teddy Swims returns to Australia this winter.
A performer who brings honeyed soul with raucous rock energy that’s wrapped together with tasty pop hooks to the stage, Teddy will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.
“I’m so excited to meet people and shake hands and hug necks.”
The grandson of a Pentecostal preacher, Swims has appeared on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’, ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’, and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, while amassing a staggering 800 million global streams.
In 2023, Swims has collaborated with Armin van Buuren and Matoma (‘Easy To Love’) as well as Elley Duhe (‘Face Myself’), after releasing his second EP ‘Sleep Is Exhausting’ last year. Swims writes nearly all his songs about falling in or out of romantic entanglements. “To me, that’s just all there is,” he says. “You’re either making love or crying about it.”
