THUNDERMOTHER are back with Revved-up music video for new single, “I Left My License In The Future”

Swedish rock’n’metal queens return with a new single showcasing their attention-grabbing line-up change. The music video for “I Left My License In The Future” – a jaw-dropping, revved-up rocker – premieres today. Danish mastermind Soren Andersen (Pretty Maids, D-A-D, Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp) handled production for the track which satisfyingly showcases THUNDERMOTHER’s vocal prowess and badass song writing skills.

“This is the first single from the new line-up,” the band says. “We want to give fans a hard-hitting, fun as hell song aimed at the person in the passenger seat. Aimed at the person without a driver’s license. An anthem for those of us who never get to take the wheel. But it’s still a love letter to the ones in the driver’s seat too. We just want to say ‘cheers! let’s party!’“

“I Left My License In The Future” is now available on all digital services HERE.

The video drop coincides with the Black And Gold Tour Part II announcement. Labelmates Landsdowne have landed the special guest slot. Dates throughout Central Europe kick-off on November 24th at Munich’s Backstage club, and run through early 2024. The new year has the band embarking on a Scandinavia-wide tour. They will bring their rock’n’roll message back home to Sweden, and take it all the way up through Northern Scandinavia.

Skåne-born guitarist Filippa Nässil laid the foundation for THUNDERMOTHER in late 2009. Originally based in Växjö where she was pursuing her studies, she later relocated to Stockholm in her quest to assemble a band. Fast forward to 2024, and THUNDERMOTHER is on the cusp of celebrating its 15th anniversary, boasting an impressive track record of successful tours worldwide. THUNDERMOTHER achieved remarkable success across Europe and held the distinction of being one of the world’s most active touring bands between 2017 and 2021.

Their last three albums, Heat Wave, Heatwave Deluxe Edition and Black And Gold, were all released on AFM Records, and landed top chart positions across Europe (#6 in Germany, #8 in Sweden, #15 in Switzerland), as well as securing the top spot on the Swedish Hard Rock charts. This level of success did not go unrewarded. Heavy metal icons the SCORPIONS invited the Swedish powerhouse to join them for an epic three month long North American stadium tour. An historic opportunity by all measures. After a successful collaboration, SCORPIONS chose to add THUNDERMOTHER on their European run as well. For 39 shows they performed for over 600,000 spectators all over Europe and North America. KISS invited the band to perform on their official KISS Kruise and they also delivered three performances at Wacken Open Air, and at numerous other festivals and events. THUNDERMOTHER are poised to be the next generation of tour headliners – with more than 2,000 shows under their belt. The band won the prestigious Gaffa Award for “Sweden’s Best Hard Rock Act in 2020,” as well as the European double silver Impala Award, and they enjoy the distinction as the only band performance (out of 40) to rate a five-out-of-five review from “Rocknytt” (Sweden Rock Festival 2023).

THUNDERMOTHER is Linnea Vikström Egg (vocals), Majsan Lindberg (bass), Joan Massing (drums) and Filippa Nässil (guitar). One line-up. One vision. One goal. “We fight for Rock’n’Roll” is the motto they live by all day, every day.
