Legacy Alive take a leap forward with Unbreakable, the first single and opening track from a brand-new, full-length album set for release by the end of this year.
Written from the perspective of someone at the end of life, looking back on a time when they felt unbreakable. The song was written in honour of former bass player Daniel Howell, who lost his life to cancer two years ago. The music video explores the fear of the passage of time and the fragility of life.
This single, along with the rest of the album was recorded and mixed in Legacy Alive’s studio by Jacob Kenny, with drum sessions recorded at Vision Studios. Mastering was completed by Simon Struthers at Forensic Audio (Karnivool, Voyager). Unbreakable explores new territory for Legacy Alive with the inclusion of synthesizers and orchestral composition to emphasize the drama of this heartfelt and reflective song.
