ABLAZE Drop New Track, ‘Different Kind Of Nightmare’

Playing All Shows On GlamFest '24 This Month

After spending 2023 releasing their first new music since 2018’s debut album ‘No Chaser’, Ablaze are back and tearing straight into 2024 with a new single and tour! Intent on showcasing the band’s diverse writing styles, new single ‘Different Kind of Nightmare‘ is a venture into far darker lyrical themes than the previous full-speed rocker ‘Gasoline‘ and southern swagger-filled ‘Old Scratch’.

The brooding, menace-filled vocals on DKON twist and turn around ideas of manipulation and consequence, painting a vivid picture of revenge and inviting you into a sinister scenario where every move has a price!

These lyrics join forces with the band’s signature soaring harmonies, melodic guitar riffs and sing-along choruses in a captivating blend of darkness and melody, giving a solid nod to shock rock and the glory days of glam whilst delivering a haunting anthem that will linger in your mind long after the final notes fade away.

‘Different Kind of Nightmare’ is the third single released in the lead up to Ablaze’s long-awaited second album and sees the band hit the road for the first time in 2024. After performing a standalone show at Adelaide’s new home of rock, the Woodshed, Ablaze will be appearing on the lineup for the highly-anticipated GlamFest ’24 in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

This will see the band share the stage with international rock icons such as Slaughter, Lynch Mob, H.E.A.T., Janet Gardner (Vixen), Tyketto, Jetboy and The Cruel Intentions as well as a host of current up-and-coming Aussie favourites.
