With a national tour underway, heavy new single, and a ripper music video to boot – it’s safe to say that it’s well and truly ‘All Systems Go’ in the Ablaze camp right now.
Following on from the launch of their hard-hitting new track ‘Menace for the Medicine,’ and between Australian tour dates, the band has managed to squeeze in time to get an absolute belter of a music video together for your viewing pleasure!
The dynamic new clip captured by Rom Anthonis and Dan Armstrong from Strongman Pictures perfectly complements the energy of the song, which is full to the brim with driving rhythms, thumping grooves and infectious vocal hooks that exude the confidence and playful essence of the Ablaze’s signature sound. Paired with lyrics that delve into the darker corners of desire, indulgence and temptation, the song takes listeners on a wild ride through the seedy underbelly of rock ‘n’ roll nightlife and those that revel in it.
But how do you capture those dark desires and temptations in a three and a half minute music video? Enter Hannah Lind…
Competitive pole dancer, studio manager of local pole and aerial studio ‘The Pole Room’ and a true hard-rocker herself, Hannah was the perfect choice for the task at hand, putting together a stunning acrobatic and alluring routine that perfectly captured the ‘Menace for the Medicine’ vibe. Mix that in with the high-energy performance the band is known for and you quite simply get the hardest-hitting music video Ablaze has produced to date.
Supporting the new release, Ablaze have strung together a handful of exciting local and interstate tour dates in Australia throughout May-June 2024. After their electrifying performances at multiple Glam Fest festival dates in support of international rock icons such as Slaughter, Lynch Mob, H.E.A.T., Tyketto, Jetboy and The Cruel Intentions, where they consistently won the crowds over, these are shows you won’t want to miss!
With the ‘Menace for the Medicine’ tour still in full swing, be sure to catch Ablaze now before they disappear into the studio to finish off what is already promising to be an absolute ripper of a second album!
