The history of Awake The Dreamer traces back to 2015 when this Stockholm-based Melodic Post-Hardcore/Metalcore act was formed by a group of childhood and high school friends. After releasing their EP “Grow” in 2016, the band has been actively touring across Europe and Asia, sharing stages with notable acts likeIce Nine Kills, Northlane, Adept, and Crystal Lake, among others.

In September 2019, Awake The Dreamer released their debut album “Damaged Souls” via Arising Empire, delivering a 10-track showcase of hard-hitting melodic Post-Hardcore/Metalcore. The album featured collaborations with notable artists such as Robert Ljung from Adept on ‘Vigilant’ and Ryo Kinoshita from Crystal Lake on ‘Atmosphere’.

Building on their robust musical journey, the band is set to elevate their artistic expression with the release of their upcoming album “Holocene” on September 27th. This new album promises to deepen their exploration of intense emotions and complex themes, setting a new benchmark for their signature sound in the metal scene.
