“Oh Yeah!”, the new raucous bluesy rock ‘n’ roll banger from California-based roots rock band Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, drops today, Friday, April 5th along with a glam-tastic music video to go along with it. The song details Beaux Gris Gris’ (aka lead singer & songwriter Greta Valenti) journey from growing up in Louisiana, moving to California at age 17, and the hazards of missed opportunities and falling in love. Still, each verse revelation ends with a que sera sera positivity of, “Oh Yeah!”. As usual, the core duo of Beaux Gris Gris (Greta Valenti & Robin Davey) have whipped up another music video shot and edited themselves, this time in an over-the-top gold and white themed Los Angeles mansion ala Liberace and Elton John.
Along with the drop of their new single, the band has decided to leak the entire album today to a special group of fans, one month before their upcoming UK headline tour. Starting today, Friday, April 5th “Bandcamp Friday”, the first Friday of every month when Bandcamp waives all fees for artists, the “Hot Nostalgia Radio” Album Pre-Sale begins for all deluxe editions of Double Vinyl on two 45s & CD versions of the album. Both versions are limited release to only 500 and 1000 copies worldwide respectively and come with a 12-page lyric and photo booklet.

The idea came from one of the band’s fans in their Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse Facebook fan group who suggested letting the fans contribute to the support of the new tour by purchasing the album early. The second single and pre-release drop comes after the band’s 5-week airwaves-topping run with their first single, “Satisfy Your Queen”. The track spent over 5 weeks playlisted on UK’s Planet Rock Radio, reaching #3 Most Played Track of the week. Additionally, the song won ‘Track of the Week’ on LouderSound, and was just named on the ‘Hot List’ in this month’s issue of Classic Rock Magazine.
