The primary reason many touring bands avoid Perth has been the associated costs, compounded by the city’s smaller population and a tendency for fans to purchase tickets late. However, Gig Gage is here to turn that narrative around.
How It Works:
- Set Up a Gig Gage Campaign: Collaborating closely with promoters and artists, a Gig Gage is created for a potential tour stop in Perth, with the goal to cover the basic costs of the tour.
- Going Live: Once the campaign goes live, fans can contribute to making the gig a reality!
- Purchase a Gig Bond: Fans can buy a Gig Bond, priced the same as a ticket, to help fill the Gig Gage. If enough fans participate before the deadline, the gig is confirmed!
- Ticket Conversion: If successful, the Gig Bond automatically converts into a ticket, ensuring attendees are set for the show.
- Refund or Exclusive Merch Offering: If the Gig Gage does not reach its goal, fans will receive a full refund* or an exclusive merchandise offering from the band, valued at least equal to the Gig Bond (*excluding transaction fees).
