Hoodoo Gurus have been blown away by the reaction to their Back to the Stoneage Tour with fifteen of the original eighteen original shows now SOLD OUT and limited tickets only being available in Sydney (Coliseum Theatre), Gosford (The Entertainment Grounds) and Brisbane (Eaton’s Hill Hotel).
Due to this unprecedented demand, the ‘Gurus’ are excited to announce a final run of shows on the Back to the Stoneage Tour.
The new 2024 shows will be at The Forum in Melbourne on Wednesday, 20 November and a 4th Perth show at The Astor Theatre on Sunday, 15 December.
After a well-earned holiday break, the band will kick off 2025 with seven shows at Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre (22 January), Costa Hall in Geelong (23 January), The Station on the Sunshine Coast (31 January), a third Brisbane show at The Fortitude Music Hall (1 February), Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast (2 February) and Newcastle’s Toronto Hotel (7 February).
The final show on the Back to the Stoneage Australian tour will be a massive end of tour party in Sydney at Selina’s in Coogee Bay on Saturday, 8 February. Tickets for this extra special show see the band tip their hats back to 1984 when Stoneage Romeos was released with all tickets set at $84.00 (plus booking fees).
Dave Faulkner said, “We’re really looking forward to going back to our old stomping ground, Selina’s, for the Back to the Stoneage tour grand finale. It won’t just be the end of a tour, it’ll be the end of an era! The Gurus at Selina’s for the last time. We’re gonna shake the joint down to its foundations.”
Special guests on these new shows will be The Hard-Ons (Melbourne and Sydney), Magic Dirt (Bendigo, Geelong, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast), Datura4 (Perth) and Spy V Spy (Newcastle).
