Pre-sale tickets for the Hoodoo Gurus’ 40th anniversary Back to the Stoneage Tour have shown how much love there is for the iconic band out there with previously announced shows in Thirroul, Brisbane and Perth selling out and 2nd shows being added to those markets.

Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul will get a second show on Wednesday, 13 November and the Astor Theatre in Perth sees another show added on Thursday, 12 December.

Following The Fortitude Music Hall show in Brisbane selling out, a new show has been added at Eaton’s Hill Hotel on Thursday, 5 December.

Tickets to the three new shows go on sale in line with all other shows at 10.00am AEST on Friday, 17 May.

Friday also sees the release of the 40th Anniversary vinyl Stoneage Romeos set is released on Big Time Recordings through Universal Music Australia. There are only a few copies of this specially printed vinyl release left and fans are advised to get their order in NOW (click here) to avoid disappointment.

Special guests on the tour are truly special, with Wollongong’s own Tumbleweed joining the Gurus at Anita’s Theatre and the Enmore and Melbourne alt-rockers Dallas Crane in Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide.

GANGgajang, Spy v Spy and Allniters will share the stage with the Gurus in Gosford. Spy v Spy will also appear in Canberra and at The Coliseum in Sydney. Rounding out the special guests are Brisbane’s Screamfeeder on all three Queensland shows and Perth’s power-pop trio, Rinehearts, playing for a home crowd in Perth.
