Black Metal outfit Hybrid Nightmares have released their full length album ‘Woeful Inertia’. Hybrid Nightmares is one of Australia’s most prolific progressive black metal acts, having built a reputation for chaotic, exciting and entertaining live shows.
‘Woeful Inertia’ is an evolution of Hybrid Nightmares, focused on their passion for and personal evolution within black metal. ‘Woeful Inertia’ showcases a move towards a more serious sound and story telling.
To celebrate the launch of ‘Woeful Inertia’ Hybrid Nightmares are headlining a show at Gasometer, promising several new tracks off the new album, including singles “Humanity Abandoned”, “Emperors Crowned” and “Programmed Cell Death”, as well as a select few heritage tracks.
Joining the line-up is Lord Kaos with founding member Astennu (ex – Dimmu Borgir) at the helm playing classic tracks from Thorns Of Impurity as well as some new tracks. Their pedigree within the global black metal community is unquestioned and we look forward to bringing you their first Melbourne show.
Earth Rot round out this powerful line-up with brutal black/death riffage and extreme strength. Long time allies of Hybrid Nightmares, there is no better band suited to help us celebrate the launch of this album.
