INTERVIEW: BABYLON A.D. – Dylan Soto

In our series of Babylon A.D. Interviews based around the new record ‘Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day’ I planned to catch up with Ron and Derek to talk all about the new record but during the chat with Ron he told me the story about meeting Dylan the band’s new drummer:

It’s a Sunday night and I look over and there’s this band playing, a younger band, a great band, and I look at this drummer and I think “That guy’s going to be famous” because not only does he have great technical ability, he just has this great energy. Little did I know I’d end up playing with him.

So I gave Dylan a call and here it is – the first interview with Dylan Soto Babylon A.D.’s new drummer.  We find out how he climbed on board, how the recording sessions went and what’s instore going forwards for the best Hard Rock band of the 80’s still  delivering the goods. Turns out he’s a lovely guy too and seriously if you haven’t heard the new album it has to be on your ‘must listen’ list for 2024.

This interview was ‘lost’ when a computer crashed and was just retrieved this week… sorry for the delay Dylan.
