Tonight at the Inkerman Hotel in St.Kilda Victoria we were treated to a rare solo performance by Brennan Mileto, lead vocalist for the glam rock band Sisters Doll. Without his brothers this was a stripped back performance.
Just a man with his curls, a 12 string acoustic guitar and a stomp box drum. Brennan is a human juke box, showing off his vocal and playing talent, with a huge song book of classic songs. He did 3 sets, starting at 8pm and finishing at 11pm. He played over 30 songs, ranging from Kiss, Brian Adams, Credence and Dragon.
This was a relaxed gig with Brennan talking and interacting with the punters and even having a group of Buck’s night lads as his back up singers, who crowned him King of the night. There was dancing, singing by all, great food and drinks flowing.
The crowd consisted of Sisters Doll fans, Brennan’s friends and family and lucky people who just turned up to their local pub. Ozgreeny’s camera was taken over by Brennan’s brother Austin for some shots (but I think your job is safe for the moment Steve). The performance closed with a encore performance of the Kiss song “rock’n’roll all Nite” and I think some of the party goers did.
