Australia are you ready for the some more from Me First and the Gimme Gimmes?
Joining the Gimmes for all shows are the self proclaimed ‘last punk band’ Dwarves who have been kicking their unique blend of punk, garage, thrash and experimental music around for 40 years if you can believe that!
Local supports have just been confirmed too and you’re in for a treat!
First up, for Brisbane and Gold Coast ticket holders, you get The Cutaways as your openers. Winning hearts with their unique blend of soulful and honest tunes that are played hard and crafted through lived experience, The Cutaways consider themselves more ‘classic rock’ than punk, but more ‘punk’ than ‘classic rock’
Newcastle, Sydney and Canberra, brace yourselves for The Skarntz. The only ska-punk band from the Gong. With 2 albums under their belt and a 3rd in the pipeline, a stack of radio play, plus notching up supports for Shihad, Catbite and now the Gimmes, The Skarntz are a band on the move!
Moving down to Torquay and Melbourne now and the mighty Dental Plan are set to open the shows there. Their eclectic brand of indie punk takes influence from the 90s alt/rock and punk eras with a bit of grunge thrown in. They’ve been named by Rolling Stone Australia as a band to watch and scored some major hits on key playlists plus a fair bit of radio love too!
In the City of Churches, who else but a band called St Judes should opening proceedings? 4 lads from the Adelaide burbs who progressed from jamming for the hell of it to releasing 3 EP’s in record time. While rooted in skate punk they have little sprinkles of everything from country, metal, polka, pirate and other surprises.
Finally as the tour wraps up in Perth, Turd will be there to get you revved up. With releases aptly called The Brown LP and Number Two’s plus supports including The Exploited, Municipal Waste & Guttermouth, Turd are the pride of Margaret River. Playing good old punk rock that is the perfect soundtrack to roaming the neighbourhood on your skateboard.
So, if you’re up for good time, whether it’s your birthday, Bar Mitzvah, Quinceañera or you’re just out on the town for the night, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes can guarantee you a good time every time.

After last year’s blitzkrieg tour, punk rock’s premier cover band, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes are back with new album ¡Blow It…At Madison’s Quinceañera! and are ready to do it all again!
One listen to ‘Quinceañera’ and you know how things went down at Madison’s event. Spike summed it up perfectly “I would like this to be considered indicative of what a live show by the Gimme Gimmes can be. The only difference is that there would be people that wanted to come and see us. What happened at this show, to me, is better than unfettered, unconditional applause from a lot of people. Golf-claps from about five people is how I want to hear a live record.”
Obviously they want more than a few golf claps but please no fake applause while you’re distracted at the bar.
