Melbourne hard hitters, Cicadastone recently released their new album, Future Echoes which received brilliant reviews from the rock press including a 9/10 from The Hard Rock Show.
The band have returned with the Future Echoes EP, a selection of songs from the album which have been reworked and re-recorded in an acoustic setting which showcases the strength of the songs and diversity of the band. The band have released a video for the lead track from the EP, Burn Your Name.
An emotional roller-coaster with some amazing lyrics, frontman Mat Robins says of Burn Your Name, that “it is a song about being caught at a crossroad in time. Looking back on your past while learning from mistakes made, and looking at your unknown future. Letting go of things you might regret and taking a new step forward isn’t easy but we all do it sooner or later. Burn your name is burning your old identity and starting new.”
