Newcastle based Alt Rockers Grub are back again with the release of their explosive new single ‘Mights & Maybes’. The single was premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage.
“It’s about the feeling of a lack of achievement, blowing off opportunities to stay at home in your safe space and never taking the leap to do what you want to do. It’s also the potential feeling of regret as you look back through your life as it’s finished and the speculation of how you’re remembered by the people around you as they grow old. It’s something we felt was quite a common feeling amongst most people and it’s something that hits home for us.”
The lads have also announced the release of their highly anticipated EP ‘Pulling Teeth’ (set for release on August 30.)
Grub recently dropped their new single and music video ‘Pulling Teeth’, which was premiered via The Point Music News. The single, which is the title track form their upcoming EP, has received airplay on over 100 radio stations worldwide.
New single ‘Mights & Maybes’ is available on all major online stores.
“GRUB bring a crossbreed of Turnstile’s punkier hardcore with the rawer ‘Bleach’-era Nirvana tones. Jagged, buzzy bass and guitars menacingly riffing over frenetic beats which slip in and out of nasty grooves provide the backbone over pure, spat out shouty vocals. ‘Pulling Teeth’ is less bratty punk, and more vitriolic crunch.”
