TAYNEE LORD Releases New Single ‘HEAVY AIR’

Among the clang of electric guitars Taynee Lord sits upon her vocal throne, producing a heady mix of anthemic hooks and commanding lyrics. Prepare yourself for high octane country twang as Taynee Lord gives you music for sunsets and highways from Bristol to Nashville. Taynee Lord founded her 5-piece band taking shape in Bristol in late 2018, recording their debut EP ‘If Only’ in January 2019. On release day the band’s first single ‘Blue Jeans’ featured on BBC Radio Bristol and ever since Taynee Lord has been a rising force amidst the burgeoning British Country Music Scene with her transmitting connection to the roots of Americana.

2020 saw Taynee’s single ‘No God Of Mine’ charting at Number 1 in the iTunes U.K. country music Charts & soaring to over 30,000 streams on Spotify. Resulting in Taynee and her band getting the honour to perform for Glastonbury Festival Founder Michael Eavis at The Pilton Stage. Taynee’s music has been played on BBC Introducing and the band were honoured to be featured as BBC Upload’s Band of the Week in May 2022. The band has also captured the attention of many radio stations around the world. In 2022 Taynee’s music was successful at The Simply Country Radio awards, winning Best Song of the Year with her single “Love Moves like a Train’ and was also honoured to take home The People’s Choice Award. 2022-23 included Taynee and her band performing at multiple festivals around the UK. They headlined the 2022’s Glastonbury Calling Festival, Bristol Balloon Festival, Glastonbury Abbey & performed to a sold out Foodies Festival amongst many other appearances.

With the release of Taynee’s 2023 single ‘Love Hard’ which has been featured by BBC Introducing and loved by over a hundred radio stations worldwide. She recently dropped her newest single ‘You Think You’re All That’, on 1st November and performed to a Sold Out Headline Show in London with Buck n Bull Saloon in November. Taynee has an exciting future ahead with new music releases for 2024.
