One of Australia’s most enduring and successful touring bands, The Black Sorrows, today release the first single from their forthcoming studio album. One Door Slams is the brand-new song lifted from The Way We Do Business which will be released on 18th October.
The Way We Do Business will be frontman Joe Camilleri’s 55th career album. It’s his seemingly tireless drive to record quality music, which has rewarded him legendary status and well-deserved longevity in the music industry. This year will be 4o years of The Black Sorrows and Joe will celebrate more than 50 years in the business.
Says Joe Camilleri of the new single “One Door Slams started off as some ramblings about a Mercury and a Coupe De Ville. Ended up as a tragic love story about a girl who gave away her love too cheaply but just couldn’t handle the curb…’one more night alone she’s gonna lose her mind. Finally, she realises the world is full of opportunities and all you gotta do is step inside.'”
