The Rockpit crew ventured to the remote setting of Mundi Mundi to celebrate one of the most unique festivals in Australia. the Mundi Mundi Bash 2024. With a star-studded line-up which included the likes of Jon Stevens, James Reyne, The Living End, Vanessa Amorosi, Sarah McLeod, Baby Animals, Chocolate Starfish and many more, the three-day music festival brought 14,000 people together for this record breaking year.
We spoke to Australian music legend Diesel shortly after he had come off stage to a rousing reception at his first ever Mundi Mundi appearance. We discussed the experience as well as his love for the double bass and what to expect for his country-wide ‘Bootleg Melancholy’ Tour, which takes him well in to December. With thanks to Cardinal Spin for arranging and to Hunter Brothers Media for the film & audio.
