Exactly one month after the release of ‘Lady’, their first single in over three years, Perth-based rockers The Silent Deeds will drop the video on Monday June 3rd. ‘Lady’ will premiere on The Silent Deeds YouTube channel at midday (AWST).

‘Lady’ was filmed at Alchemy Detail in Balcatta, Perth by Louie Taylor. ‘Lady’ stars Dana Pereira as well band members Corey Ranger, Matt Debarro, Jake Bignell & Andrew Karalis.
“Lady” is the band’s first single in over three years, succeeding “Ghosts” from 2020, featured on their EP, “Down With Me.” It’s the first of three brand-new tracks slated for release in 2024. It is fast becoming their most streamed single to date. Additionally, ‘Lady’ marks the debut of lead guitarist Jake Bignell, whose influence shifts The Deeds towards a more classic rock sound.
The track was produced and mixed under the watchful eye of Troy Nababan at his Hammerspace Recording studio in Perth.
Having supported the likes of US rockers Fuel and Melbourne’s Taxiride, 2019 saw The Silent Deeds soar to new heights when they performed as the official musical act in the 2019 WAFL Grand Final at Optus Stadium in Perth. More recently, The Silent Deeds supported Thirsty Merc for their opening two sold-out shows of their ’20 Good Years’ Tour in WA, receiving glowing reviews from both Thirsty Merc and their fans alike.
2020 saw the band release their second EP ‘Down with Me’ which spawned the singles ‘The Race’, ‘Come Alive’ and ‘Ghosts’. The Silent Deeds appeared on Foxtel’s The Scene, which is a weekly show highlighting the Western Australian music scene and hosted by Perth radio presenter Blake Williams from Mix94.5. Shortly after the airing of the episode, the band supported two-time ARIA award winners End of Fashion.
In 2022, the band take a short hiatus. They returned in 2023, writing, recording, and looking to release new music in 2024. New single ‘Lady’, released on 3rd May has received rave reviews, being played countrywide across a multitude of stations, and is fast becoming their most streamed single to date.
Since their first official live show, The Silent Deeds have blazed a trail throughout the WA pub rock scene. The band played in a string of iconic live music venues across the state including the Ravenswood Hotel, The Stirling Arms, Margaret River’s Settlers Tavern, The RosemountHotel, Badlands, Amplifier Bar, The Velvet Lounge, The Oddfellow, The Swan Hotel, The Railway Hotel, The Indi Bar, and many more.
