THE TESKEY BROTHERS have captured the hearts of music fans with their soul-drenched take on rock, folk and blues across three studio albums, with their captivating live performances striking an undeniable chord with music lovers around the world. The band’s third studio album, 2023’s The Winding Way, debuted at number one on the ARIA charts and won the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots album and Best Record at this year’s Rolling Stone Australia Awards.

The songwriting partnership of Sam and Josh Teskey is a rare musical gem, seamlessly blending soul and blues, embracing the timeless essence of Motown, while crafting a unique musical identity distinctly their own. This partnership was recently recognised with THE TESKEY BROTHERS winning the prestigious Songwriter of the Year award at last month’s APRA Music Awards.

Joining THE TESKEY BROTHERS on this tour are very special guests BAND OF HORSES for their first Australian shows since 2016. With hits like The Funeral, Laredo and No One’s Gonna Love You – and three ARIA Top 30 albums – the band has garnered a loyal following in Australia since first touring here in 2006. Originally from Seattle, their early records saw them become one of the most prominent indie rock bands of the era, with their 2010 LP Infinite Arms nominated for a Grammy. Known for their dynamic sound, evocative lyrics and compelling live performances, their songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans. Led by founding member Ben Bridwell, BAND OF HORSES released their sixth studio album in 2022, Things Are Great, and in 2024 released Acoustic At The Ryman Vol.2 – the follow up to 2014’s Volume 1.

Also gracing the stage will be the mesmerising SIERRA FERRELL whose genre-blending style has captivated audiences worldwide and made her one of the most in-demand musicians right now. With her distinctive enchanting voice, vintage sound and eclectic mix of country, folk, Americana and blues, her performance will leave audiences spellbound. Making a very welcome return to Australia, Sierra’s last tour in 2022 saw her sell out shows across the country. On tour in the US with country superstar Zach Bryan, their powerful duet Holy Roller has amassed 46 million streams on Spotify alone. Her latest album Trail Of Flowers shows why Sierra is being hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of country and roots music’s most fascinating and fast-rising artists”.

Adding to the stellar lineup is charismatic Irish singer-songwriter, CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson). This rising star’s unique blend of indie-pop and country has propelled her to prominence since her 2022 debut, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead, which won the Choice Music Award for Irish Album of the Year. Her powerful performances and clever songwriting have made her a distinctive voice in contemporary music, with her latest album Crazymad, For Me earning her nominations for a Brit Award and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Best Album. With superstar fans like Elton John and Robbie Williams singing her praises, CMAT has captured the attention of the music world, and with her full band in tow, will no doubt captivate crowds at her first-ever Australian shows.
