Canadian metal legends ANVIL have released a brand new music video from their latest album One and Only, just ahead of their 2025 U.S. tour, which kicks off on April 17th in Portland, Maine. The video was shot on location in Belgium, Sweden, and Switzerland during their most recent European tour, which saw the band perform nine weeks of shows in support of ONE AND ONLY.
Directed by Paul McGuire, the music video captures Anvil’s energy and raw authenticity that fans of the band have come to expect. McGuire, who also serves as the band’s European tour manager, has previously worked with some of the most iconic names in rock and metal, including Metallica, Megadeth, Dee Snider, Raven, and many more.
“We finally found the right time and place to shoot a music video ‘Truth Is Dying,’ which is my favorite track from the newest album. We were hoping for this track to be the first single, but it didn’t work out in the end, so it’s awesome to finally get it done. Our European tour manager, Paul McGuire, just so happens to be an internationally renowned video director, so it’s meant to be and happens right when it’s supposed to. There is a very clear message laced within the lyrics of ‘Truth Is Dying,’ and it speaks to people all over the world no matter where they are that you have to be very vigilant with what you’re told and what you believe, in an age of disinformation.”
