After four long years of silence following their unforgettable performances at Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock, sharing the stage with Sepultura, and enduring personal trials, HIDDEN INTENT are back. The Adelaide pub thrash tycoons emerge from the studio with their hardest-hitting record yet — ‘Terrorform’
A follow-up to the iconic Aussie thrash release ‘Dead End Destiny’, the band’s latest album takes their sound to uncharted depths of heaviness and meaning. A clever twist on “terraform” (the transformation of a planet to support life), ‘Terrorform’ delves into the human psyche, exposing how warped thinking has led us astray as a species. It’s a call to action to “terraform our minds” – to shed inherited prejudices, dismantle self-imposed limitations, and break free of the toxic cycles that hold us back. The goal? To strip it all down and rebuild from within, thinking freely for a brighter future.
Lead Shredder Phil had this to say about the band’s mission on the record: “We’re building on everything we’ve done with HIDDEN INTENT up to this point, but making it wider. On one hand, you’ll get more melodic/lighter elements, while on the other, we’re pushing into a much more extreme direction—more brutal, heavier, and unapologetically offensive.”
Prepare yourselves, metalheads—2025 will be the year ‘Terrorform’ shakes the foundations of heavy music.
