Perth singer/songwriter Jason Ayres is back with a brand new single. Released today, ‘Desire’ is an upbeat country/rock tune with catchy pop elements. It is a new direction for Ayres and one he is relishing immensely, having sat down to speak to The Rockpit at the recent Ravo Blues & Roots Festival, an interview that we will have up next week.
Jason Ayres has been extremely busy these last 18 months, not only has he been writing and recording but has also enjoyed some high profile support slots, enabling him to exercise his craft to large audiences around the country. The Fabulous Caprettos, Wendy Matthews and Daryl Braithwaite have all welcomed Ayres on to their stage, as well as previous supports for legendary singer Billy Ocean. 2025 looks to be another busy year with Jason set to announce more exciting news as the year goes on.
Jason will celebrate the launch of the new single with a show at the wonderful Lyric’s Underground in Maylands, Perth where he will showcase the old and the new, like a rock n’ roll carnival of sounds.
