Ahead of the release of their hotly-anticipated third studio album BODIES on Friday 4 April, Melbourne’s THORNHILL are set to gift fans with three special album preview shows this March, joined by special gusts SIGNALS and MELTING.

Offering fans a unique opportunity to experience BODIES before its release in a live and intimate setting, THORNHILL‘S BODIES album preview shows will kick off on Thursday 27 March at Howler in Melbourne, before heading to Brisbane’s Crowbar on Saturday 29 March and closing out on Sunday 30 March at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney.

Following on from their ARIA Award-nominated 2022 opus Heroine, BODIES finds Thornhill elevating to spectacular new heights, offering an unbridled explosion of raw vulnerability fused with some of the band’s heaviest moments to date. While 2022’s Heroine revelled in lush textures and bold, curated aesthetics, BODIES opens the floodgates to spontaneity. Balancing intensity with boundless creative freedom and ingenuity, album #3 for THORNHILL is not only a definitive snapshot of a band in full flight just shy of a decade into their staggering career; it’s also a celebration of authenticity and gripping dynamism from one of Australia’s most engaging heavy acts.

Globally renowned for their artful and engaging heavy creations, THORNHILL possess a flair for gripping charm forged with unforgettable ferocity. Via their ARIA Award-nominated 2022 album Heroine, THORNHILL cemented their reputation as one of the most innovative heavy acts in the Australian scene, with Heroine debuting at #3 on the ARIA Albums charts, and at #1 on the Australian Albums charts.

THORNHILL have amassed a heaving array of accolades over the years, including an ARIA Award nomination, and securing triple j’s Feature Album and additions to countless Best Of The Year listings for their 2019 release The Dark Pool. Most recently, Thornhill closed out 2024 headlining a huge run across the UK and Europe, and will next perform on home soil supporting A Day To Remember for the legendary Florida group’s only Knotfest Australia headline sideshow this March, before embarking on their BODIES album preview show run, and then returning to North America headlining in New York alongside Banks Arcade and Avoid in April.

Adelaide metalcore quartet SIGNALS formed during the global pandemic and quickly exploded into view with their unique brand of intensity balanced with melodic wizardry and noise elements. Releasing a brand new EP Poetry Of Spite in 2024, SIGNALS once again displayed their raw and ravenous stylings that has seen them perform at Froth & Fury Festival, and also tick off supports with We Came As Romans, Alpha Wolf, and many more. Ahead of supporting THORNHILL on the BODIES album preview run in late March, SIGNALS will also support prolific metalcore progressives ERRA in Adelaide on Saturday 8 March.

Hailing from Melbourne, MELTING erupted onto the scene back in 2024 with their debut single Modern Human Ritual. Since then, the quartet have established a formidable reputation for their savage take on metalcore, fusing primal grooves and unique instrumentation alongside ferocious breakdowns, chaotic energy and raw, insightful lyricism that will grip you and leave you gasping for more. Most recently, MELTING performed alongside Bloom, Outsider and APATE, with 2025 also set to deliver the group’s debut, yet to be announced, debut album.
