Canberra based rockers Jack Biilmann & The Black Tide have released their new single ‘Eric (Long Live The King)’, which is being premiered here at The Rockpit.
‘Eric (Long Live The King)’, is a high-energy track with plenty of swagger that was written about Jack Biilmann’s beloved blue heeler. Featuring strong chemistry of new members Pat Quinn Quirke (guitar) Joel Cabban (bass) & Jono Warren( drums) making up accompanying band The Black Tide, this electrifying tune has soaring vocals & big guitar chops – grabbing the attention of 90’s garage rock lovers, the blues and your dog who will suddenly expect you to write a song for them also!
Using elements of 90s’s rock, blues, country & some serious guitar riffage, Jack Biilmann & The Black Tide commands attention with high energy, heavy grooves, dynamics but still maintains Biilmann’s signature brand of vulnerable storytelling, versatility and prowess as a musician which is hugely supported by The Black Tide’s massive skill set as a band.
Jack Biilmann recently released his solo single called ‘Hot Blood’, which received coverage from Double J, ABC Radio, CMT Australia and Countrytown, whilst being aired on over 200 radio stations worldwide. The single was the first offering from Biilmann’s upcoming album called ‘Divided Mind’, which comes out on June 16. The album is a concept record, that is split into two sections. Side A features a collection of acoustic tracks from Jack Biilmann, whilst Side B is a powerful re-entrance to the blues/rock arena with the newly formed backing band The Black Tide.
‘Eric (Long Live The King)’ is available on all major online stores from Friday 26th May.
