In the uplifting and honest “Truth As My Weapon,” Suzi Quatro and KT Tunstall reveal the softness behind their rock personas as they reflect together on the importance of truth. Sharing their experiences as women in rock together, the track is one of ten original songs written by the pair and recorded together in England. The song is the second single to be released from their upcoming Face to Face album.
Quatro brings her ground-breaking rock legacy to the project, and Tunstall brings her singer-songwriter sensibilities. The natural collaboration between the two artists produces a folky, vulnerable and straight-to-the-point track, which reflects on their experiences as women in music and beyond.
Featuring a theme of friendship, it’s fitting that in an age where many artists collaborate digitally in separate locations, Suzi and KT wrote and recorded their album together in England.
