UK alt-rock legend, Gaz Coombes, added a series of headline shows to his visit down under in November and December. Already here to support fellow Brit Robbie Williams on his Australian tour, fans of UK rock were able to see Gaz perform his Turn The Car Around headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle.
A Mercury nominated solo performer who is also known for his work as front man of legendary Britpop band Supergrass, Gaz Coombes returned down under for the first time since 2018, when he performed sold out East Coast dates.
No stranger to the live stage, Gaz has spent most of 2023 touring the globe to rave reviews from fans and critics alike, with VBAH claiming “Coombes displays the ability to make the simplest things sound quite beautiful” and Clash Music celebrating Gaz as “a versatile artist with a relatable, captivating presence”.
Gaz was joined by Perth power pop outfit The Rinehearts who opened for Gaz on his Fremantle show, in duo mode.
