Sparta celebrated the 20th Anniversary of their seminal and legendary debut album ‘Wiretap Scars’ by performing the album in full, closing the tour at Rosemount Hotel in Perth, supported by Gyroscope.
Sparta formed from the ashes of At The Drive-In. ‘Wiretap Scars’ bears all the traces of classic At The Drive-In — razor-sharp guitar slashes, aggressively churning punk grooves and emotional lung shredding vocals — along with darker textures, quieter passages, smoother performances and slower tempos.
The album features the single “Cut Your Ribbon” and epic live fan favourites “Air” and “Collapse”.
