DYLAN GERS Releases New Riff-Driven Track ‘White Swan’

Dylan Gers, son of Iron Maiden guitarist Janick, has released another exciting track, the new and highly anticipated first single from his upcoming EP, which is available on all streaming services from October 30 through independent record label sly-tone.

‘White Swan’ is written and solely performed by Dylan Gers with the exception of Noah Yorke (son of Radiohead vocalist Thom), who drums on the track. It is a riff-driven song influenced by and created with Deep Purple’s ‘Black Night’ in mind. A lure-driving riff leads to Dylan haunting vocals, and complete with powerful bass and bigger drums. Regarding the track Gers says, “Coming into writing this piece, i was increasingly infatuated with riff driven songs such as work from Led Zeppelin and in particular Black Night by Deep purple, i knew for this i wanted it to be in the direction of so with the focal point being a riff therefore white swan was born, I always wanted to have a song like so under my belt with its energy, for the live aspect and the studio and now I’m happy. I know this is a better song as myself in maturing and growing I feel my songwriting ability is doing the same and I think this shows with the work I have out to this moment”.
