The Wheatus Acoustic Tour is well underway, and is shaping up to be the most fun you can have indoors this summer.
Featuring Wheatus frontman and incredibly nice guy, Brendan B. Brown along with his better half, fellow Wheatus member Gabrielle Sterbenz, the epic 14 date run also features founding member and former lead guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist of The Chats, Josh ‘Pricey’ Price.
Fans attending the Sydney show at The Loft inside The Underground at UTS on January 30 are in for a special treat with the Thomas Nicholas Band joining the line up!
Thomas Nicholas Band is touring Australia to celebrate the 25 years of American Pie and are hot on the heels of their 7th album featuring artists: Bowling For Soup, & Less Than Jake.
Nicholas, (Kevin Meyers in the American Pie films) is still acting full time, his recent TV series Underdeveloped with Tom Arnold is on Tubi & Amazon. TNB’s 2012 single My Generation was included on the American Reunion soundtrack album. Last year, TNB recorded 1999 a parody of Bowling For Soup’s 1985.
Brendan, Gabrielle, Pricey and now Thomas are, dirt bagging it across the nation with sets that are perfect for these stripped-back, intimate shows across our great southern land.

After a whirlwind 2024 that saw Brendan down under twice, once in February for acoustic shows with Art from Everclear and again with Wheatus in April for the Pandemonium Festival, BBB has become a beloved fixture in the Aussie music scene. The viral “Teenage Dirtbag photos” trend on TikTok has attracted over a million participants, including celebs like Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Mark Ruffalo, and the hashtag #teenagedirtbag has been viewed over 2 billion times!
The song’s timeless appeal has also been featured in Netflix’s “Big Mouth,” Disney’s “Cruel Summer,” and in 2023, it incredibly re-entered the UK Top 40 charts! The buzz culminated in a performance at Madison Square Garden for iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball, where Brendan sang alongside pop sensation Jax.
