Matt Pearce says: “Never Get Away From Love is the last single I’m releasing from The Soul Food Store album, it’s a funky little tune, unusually in 7/8 time signature, which makes it super fun to play live, watching the band members’ concentration faces, and the audience members trying to dance to it..! The lyric video is taken from a 1945 film noir called Detour, and it works great with the song I think.”
