Formidable UK Rockers NIGHTBLADE Announce New Album & Drop New Single

Unstoppable Brit Rock combo, NIGHTBLADE, will release their fifth album in a remarkable five years. The rampant riff slingers reveal their aptly titled album, 5, on Friday 11th April. The first single from this stunning record, One Night On The Town, is out now.

NIGHTBLADE’s creative output stands in a class of its own. While the highly rated rockers have strict quality control over their musical endeavours, they’ve still successfully amassed an expansive catalogue of music, letting nothing hinder their creative vigour. Their quintet of album releases began in 2020 with the band’s explosive ‘return to form’ album, Ignorance Is Bliss, followed by, Unknown Territories, which went on to cement their prowess. 2022’s Hope To Be There further demonstrated the group’s guile and innovation. The band’s most recent album, That’s The Way You Want It, has helped to push the Brit rockers to a wider audience with a stunning reimagining of Gerry Rafferty’s mega hit, Baker Street, which catapulted the established rockers evermore into the public domain. The album was also backed with a series of hugely successful in-store HMV appearances.

As well as a potent stream of album releases, NIGHTBLADE have also picked up constant critical acclaim and support for their recorded work with the likes of Powerplay Magazine, Kerrang! Radio, HRH Magazine, Total Rock, RAMzine, Fireworks Magazine, Rockposer, Maximum Volume Music, Moshville, and Rock N Load Magazine.

With the release of their new album, 5, Mark Crosby (vocalist) remarks: “Hallelujah!  This album is the final piece of the puzzle which was started in March 2020. The intention was never to write and record five albums back-to-back, but the creative juices have continued to flow thick and fast.” Crosby goes on to add: “We have both developed and refined our sound along the way.  We are very proud of ‘5’, and collectively, we consider it to be the best album in our run of five. It contains ballads, quick riffs, mid-tempo, quirky, blues-crunch and many other diverse elements which usually make up a Nightblade album.”

NIGHTBLADE have certainly saved the best for last, and that’s no easy feat given their volume of work, but the band’s latest album, 5, is an absolute banger. With a cluster of singles and live shows to follow, 2025 will be the band’s busiest yet.
