It’s a long way between starting out playing to the family in Collie, Western Australia in 2010 and playing stages all around the world in 2025. That’s all part of the amazing story of Sister’s Doll and proof that the dreams that started in Country W.A. all those years ago can come true. I’m predicting that 2025 could well be the biggest year so far for Sister’s Doll. ‘Scars’ their third album, 8 years in the making, showcases a wonderful set of songs and shows a maturity and edginess that has been refined with age.
We caught up with Ausin just a few days before the first trip of the year to the U.S. where the band plays the Monsters of Rock Cruise before heading West to The Viper Room. Later in the year they head to the U.K. for their first visit taking in 12 dates in May before hitting one of the U.K.’s finest Rock Festivals ‘Call of the Wild’. Joined on the U.K. tour by the always great Kickin’ Valentina its a double bill not to be missed.
There’s a lot to talk about, so we dig into the album tracks and talk about the evolution of the band and the addition of the fourth brother to complete the set!
