Over-Reactor cancel some Album Release Tour Dates

Over Reactor

Melbourne’s Over-Reactor is today unfortunately cancelling segments of their upcoming Judgment Day tour, due to the mental health of front-man Ezekiel Ox. The duo will still be performing the Bendigo and Melbourne shows, but are cancelling the Sydney, Newcastle and Adelaide shows.

In a statement, the writer and vocalist for the outfit was extremely apologetic but wanted fans to know that he had to place some focus on his own mental health for a while to ensure his ability to keep performing and touring. “I want to apologise to all the Over-Reactor die-hards out there who will be disappointed with these shows being cancelled.  I am in a very painful, confused and dark place at the moment, and my mental health needs my full attention.  The touring environment is brutal and demanding and I am feeling too vulnerable to be away from home at this point.  I will take this time to get better, and then we will make up these shows in time.  Cory and I thank you for your continued support.

If you are experiencing Mental Health issues such as Depression or Anxiety, please contact Men’s Line Australia – 1300 78 99 78, Beyond Blue – 1300 22 4636, Suicide Call Back Service – 1300 659 467, Lifeline – 13 11 14 or Entertainment Assist at https://www.entertainmentassist.org.au.

The underground heroes, who have played shows & tours supporting Karnivool, Cog, Floating Me, Front End Loader and more, as well as headlining blistering two-man shows, are firebrand frontman Ezekiel Ox (Mammal, Superheist, The Nerve, Full Scale) on vocals and Cory Blight (Dukes of Windsor) on Drums and samples. Their new “Cocaine Headdress” album is out now at iTunes and Spotify and at the band’s Bandcamp – over-reactor.bandcamp.com.
