Dreamers Crime are today announcing that they are to release their brand new album ‘No Compromises’ on Friday November 17 – an album created and crafted by the Sydney band along with Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic at Electric Sun Studios (Tonight Alive, The Dead Love, Thy Art is Murder, Northlane). This is their debut album and it hits hard and pulls no punches.

‘No Compromises’ will be available for pre-order this Friday October 13 and punters will receive new single ‘Here We Are’ – their new single and the second cut from the record. Today, they are also releasing a filmclip for the track to celebrate the announcement – and the track will nab its radio premiere tomorrow night on triple j’s The Racket.

Following on from two years’ worth of writing and gigging in Australia, including opening a Rugby League pre-game show at ANZ stadium, the boys returned to the recording studio to lay down what became ‘No Compromises’.

Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic brought Dreamers Crimes’ ideas and potential into reality. A melting pot of influences and ideas meshed together and out came an album that depicts the sound of a new era and style in song, which will be able to be heard in its entirety from November 17.

Last month, they released the first taste of the album – ‘I Believe in You’, which came along with a filmclip that follows a bunch of people who have received a mysterious flyer that leads them to the band playing and leads to an all-out-angry mosh! The track saw it’s premiere at Heavy Magazine and was added to high rotation on The Faction Radio.

Pete Repousis, frontman for the Sydney outfit, said that
“Sometimes to get to where you wanna go, you have to say – f*#k what others have to say and just go for it. People sometimes over-compromise and end up the person they don’t want to be or in a place they never wanted to be in. Sometimes, for the sake of your beliefs and your dreams, you have to say no. That is where the album name ‘No Compromises’ came from. We didn’t want to compromise on this record and neither should our fans have to accept any less from us.”

Simon Kapsis, guitarist for Dreamers Crime says that “2018 is set to be a big year and releasing the album is just the beginning”. The band wants to go anywhere and everywhere after the release of their album at the end of 2017, and the rest is yet to come.
