Stillwater Giants release first music for 2017, announce WA tour

Stillwater GiantsA snappy narrative exploring comedic first impressions of ‘girls that they’ve met’ in bars or at parties, sees Stillwater Giants return with a killer attitude and rockier sound. Boasting a cacophony of energetic drums, this track highlights shouty lyrics that sway and jump with the inherent boyish togetherness of the song. Featuring a swoon worthy guitar riff that crescendo’s into an electric blur, the boys have produced a jaunty single sure to raise morale in any instance and on any stage.

‘Those Girls That I Meet’ was birthed in the band’s hometown of Perth at Blackbird Studios with Dave Parkin (Pond, Jebediah, Abbe May), after the red-hot success of their first full length album Munich last year. A short break and months spent producing the latest release, resulted in a rejuvenated thirst where the ‘carpe diem’ notion is front and centre. Stillwater Giants are wasting no time with this catchy ditty and are set to begin a summer tour of Western Australia to showcase the new track and their upcoming ‘EP’ this October/November.

No strangers to the live stage, having supported the likes of Birds of Tokyo, The Delta Riggs and The Rubens, this happy-go-lucky group of larrikin’s have well and truly established a fresh new buzz that will see them tear up the West Coast this summer.

‘Those Girls That I Meet’ is out Friday 13 October | Stillwater Giants summer tour is on sale now.
