After keeping quiet on the progress of the next phase of Melbourne, Australia’s melodic death metallers Orpheus Omega, the band are excited to announce that they will be heading into the studio with world renowned metal producer/engineer Mark Lewis this March.

He will be joining the guys down under to work on their as of yet untitled fourth album and they’re absolutely stoked to have him on board to help achieve their vision.

Mark has worked with some of the biggest bands in metal including Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel and Ne Obliviscaris just to name a few.

The band comment: ‘We believe that this partnership with Mark will bring to this album exactly what is needed to help our vision become a reality and we are very excited to share this new music with you all.
The album is already shaping up to be the most intense and confronting album we’ve written and after 10 years as a band, the album truly feels like a complete realization of our musical aspirations.
There is plenty still to announce and release but we will do it as things become complete and we are truly happy with it all. We can’t wait for the next chapter that begins now and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we have so far.’

Partum Vita Mortem was released in July 2015 via Kolony Records and in Australia via Rocket/Nerve Gas
