Sydney’s Power Metal maestros Darker Halfbegan their “Are You Ready” tour last week with shows in Newcastle, Wollongong and Sydney. The response was summed up in this review at wallofsoundau.com:“The sky is the limit with these guys.”
This weekend sees them “checking the readiness” of fans in Wagga (Home Tavern on Friday 1 June) and Wodonga (St Ives Hotel on Saturday 2 June).
Melbourne Thrash Metal heroes Mason join them as special guests the following week in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The tour will continue with shows in Geelong, Bendigo, Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne.
Singer/Guitarist Vo Simpson says “Our last couple of European tours have helped us grow as a band and that’s coming through in our performances. We haven’t toured Australia like this for a few years and are really looking forward to it.”
