The Bennies release new video ‘Trip Report’, tour starts this week

The Bennies

The Bennies Natural Born Chillers album tour kicks off at Brisbane’s The Triffid this Wednesday followed by 14 shows, over two months which will see The Bennies visit every state in the country. Having just returned from an epic 6 week tour all around Europe, The Bennies are finally back on home ground and ready to do what they do best – bring the party to the people!

Clocking in at exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds, the new clip from The Bennies for ‘Trip Report’ which sees spoken word tales of the band’s day tucked in between the catchiest chorus without lyrics you’ve ever heard. Wall of Sound called Trip Report “equal parts engaging and funny. The track plays out like an understated sequel to break-out Bennies classic ‘Knights Forever’.” The ‘Trip Report’ clip was animated by Joel Kirschenbaum who’s also worked with The Smith Street Band and Jeff Rosenstock.

Joining The Bennies on most dates are Newcastle duo Gooch Palms who have just released their new single ‘Busy Bleeding’ and have announced their signing to Dune Rats’ label Ratbag Records. Young Offenders from Adelaide will also head along for the ride, playing the East Coast and Adelaide shows. While a great mix of supports have also been announcing including Abbe May and Axe Girl in Perth and Dunsborough, plus old friends Ferla joining the hometown show at Melbourne’s Howler.
