When Mammal decided to reform in August of 2017 they sat down and scribbled out a “things to do” list.
1. Play a massive hometown reunion gig – “Tick”
2. Start writing some new songs – “Check”
3. Embark on a nationwide Oz tour to see all our Mammalian friends – “Booked”
4. Smash the UK again???
Actually, there was absolutely no question about it. Mammal have some seriously unfinished business in the UK and had every intention of sticking a big, fat “TICK!!” next to that one!
And so it is with great pleasure and with much excitement and anticipation that Mammal can announce that they are indeed returning to London this October and will be smashing it up for one night only at The Underground in Camden.
Mammal last graced UK shores almost 9 years ago for the first (and only) time with both London shows selling out within days of being announced and both shows going on to be stamped in Mammal folklore as two of the most action packed and exciting gigs the band had ever delivered. To this day both are still talked about by anyone fortunate enough to have been there to witness them and are still regarded by the band themselves as two of the most memorable and impactful gigs they have ever played. But don’t just take theirs and everyone else word for it!
Kerrang magazine wrote “Mammal’s show is perfect…If you weren’t there you missed out, big time.” and gave Mammal a prefect score of “KKKKK”.
Mammal are BACK!!! And if their recent shows are anything to go by they are bigger and better than ever and will be heading to London in October hot off the back of their nationwide Oz tour so chances are the lads will once again in be red hot form and eager to make more Mammalian history. So now only one question remains… Are you going to be able to say you were there front row centre to witness Mammal’s triumphant return to the UK for one night only??
Well, we all know the only sane way to answer that question though don’t we?
“HELLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHH!!!””
