Aussie rockers, King Coyote have released a striking music video for their new single,
Moonlight Queen. Produced by VFX master Danny McNeill, check it out below!
The trio combine the the riff rock of QOTSA and Jet with the bluesy swagger of the Stones and four on the floor party rock!
Hailing from the NSW mid north coast town of Port Macquarie, King Coyote, have been slowly building a solid fanbase since forming in 2016 and have a stack of feathers in their bow including;
Support slots for Unwritten Law, Nick Oliveri, the Grenadiers, King Parrot and more. They also co-headlined the Wildwood Festival and collaborated with Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson on two tracks used as promo videos for surfing company Rip Curl. Check those out here and here
All three members have very different upbringings, frontman Alexander ‘Sunny’ Rowlands (vocals, guitar, percussion) is a Port Mac native, while James ‘Jimmy’ Buckley (guitar, bass, vocals) hails from further south in Newcastle, and Drummer Stevie G (Stephen Gebhardt) grew up in Los Angeles so there’s a a lot of diversity to bring to the table.
King Coyote releases their debut single at the end of last year. The Game was a broody introduction to the band that saw them tour all over the east coast & score a tonne of great press.
