Ocean Sleeper Drop Huge New Single “Save Me” And Hit The Road In November

Sons of regional Australia Ocean Sleeper have broken through the quiet with a five-date national tour and brand-new single Save Me.

Save Me takes the band on an emotional journey, as vocalist Karl Spiessl describes; “The song speaks to that place a lot of people we know have been, where we try to have a good time but it’s in excess” Guitarist and singer Ionei Heckenberg continues “But it’s just to deal with or hide the demons that bring us down”.

Metal-core upstarts Ocean Sleeper are no strangers to redefining convention. From humble beginnings in regional Victoria, to festival favourites and alongside the touring greats such as Stray From The Path, Counterparts and a national tour with Dream On Dreamer.

But at the start of 2018, the band took to the USA to record with the legendary Kris Crummett (Issues, Dance Gavin Dance, Sleeping With Sirens). Save Me is the first taste from the time spent with Crummett in his Portland studio and a hint of what 2019 holds for the band.

In further support of the single, Ocean Sleeper will be taking to the road and share a hint of what went down in Oregon, with plenty of new music to test and with their friends around the country as well as alongside metal-core greats Killswitch Engage. The time for Ocean Sleeper is now.
