The Old Bridge Militia Foundation recently hosted a record release party for the new Overkill record “The Wings of War” on the official release date Friday February 22, 2019.
The Old Bridge Militia Foundation is a 501C charity organization that helps children in need with an introduction into music by providing instruments and music lessons as an effort to give back with music. They are well known for their affiliations with many rock bands just starting out their careers such as Metallica, Overkill, Anvil, Slayer, Venom, and Exciter to name a few. The evening was a great success as legendary L’amour DJ Alex Kayne debut the record and the new Overkill video “Welcome to the Garden State”. DD, Blitz, Jason, and Derick of Overkill attended. Live music was performed by Headmotor a Motorhead tribute band complete with a Bomber light rig. Bobby Blitz joined the band and sang Motorheads “Overkill” to cap off the event.
