Pink Fly is what real alt rock is all about. The raw energy, angst, and urgency of their first single, “Happy” was conceived and recorded by lead singer, Renee Phoenix, screaming her lungs out in her one bedroom apartment, under a bedroom comforter so she wouldn’t wake her neighbors. No overproduced, radio driven tactics, and high end gear. No auto-tune or effects. It’s all just straight-from-the-gut passion and emotion driving the 3 piece, all girl, LGBT, alt rock band who are setting the bar for female empowerment and excellence in musicianship. Pink Fly is a three-piece, All Female, Queer alt-rock band that combines elements of 90’s era grunge along with 2019 attitude. Leading the charge by touring to some of the worlds largest music festivals including Riot Fest, Loudwire, Rockville and Warped Tour, Pink Fly has shared the stage with such notable acts as The Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon, No Doubt and The Chainsmokers.
