Chaos Divine drop crushing new single ‘False Flags’

Chaos Divine

Leading audiences and listeners through a journey of uncompromising arrangements, crushing heavy riffs and soaring melodies, Perth’s enigmatic prog metallers CHAOS DIVINE return to their roots with False Flags – the blistering second single lifted from the band’s upcoming album.

A complete sensory attack at every turn, False Flags delivers an all out assault of machine gun riffs reminiscent of the bands earliest works, combined with a plethora of melodic hooks. This is truly a song that obliterates everything in its path. Vocalist David Anderton says of the track, “While False Flags delves into conspiracy theories of clandestine governments attacking the very citizens they’re sworn to protect, it also highlights a very real and on-going concern of the extreme privacy concerns and censorship that the people of leading nations today are experiencing.”

With a suite of industry accolades, national and international tours, and appearances at major music festivals under their belt, CHAOS DIVINE have carved out an impressive reputation for delivering a powerful and dynamic live show. The band has played alongside some of the biggest names in rock and metal including Slayer, Mastodon, Tesseract, Animals As Leaders, Arch Enemy, Katonia, Between The Buried And Me, Fear Factory,  Trivium and many more. Earlier this year the band joined the likes of The Ocean, Monuments and Skyharbor for the reputable Progfest national tour.

In 2015, CHAOS DIVINE staked their claim with their third album Colliding Skies, branded by many as a benchmark in modern progressive metal and one of the year’s best heavy albums. The success of the record landed the band a two-week European tour and the second-headline spot at the 2016 Progpower Europe festival alongside Textures.

With first taster Unspoken shooting to #6 on the iTunes Australia metal charts and receiving widespread praise, False Flags will see Chaos Divine’s trajectory continue as they tear up stages around the country with good mates Voyager this July.
