With the upcoming behemoth tour of Metallica heading to Australia in October, now seemed like a good time to get primed and ready for one of metal’s most legendary bands. Spearheaded by Ram Raid Entertainment and Six By Nine Agency along with Perth’s roll call of metal legends past and present, And Metallica For All was the ultimate homage to the bay area thrashers in true WA spirit.
It wasn’t just a Metallica celebration though as DJ Cain of Extreme Aggression and Malignant Monster fame belted out metal classics while the bands brought their own sound to the packed crowd. Tempest Rising and Vanadium B.C. opened the night with prog giants Chaos Divine and a reunited Pathogen, who returned at Slayfest earlier this year, providing the rest.
It’s events like this that keep interest alive in the local scene and adding some Metallica to the mix is always a good thing!
